United Rentals, Inc. today announced that it has signed a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., in a transaction valued at approximately $6.6 billion, including the assumption of approximately $2.6 billion in debt obligations.

Washington Group Expects $25 Million Charge for Late Completion
