A large selection of cranes and late-model construction equipment attracted more than 600 registered bidders from 53 countries to a multi-million dollar unreserved auction in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, this week. The auction was conducted by Ritchie Bros.

The two newest hydraulic excavator models from Volvo are the EC160C, with an operating-weight range of 37,830 to 42,760 pounds, and EC210C, with an operating-weight range from 46,920 to 51,200 pounds. Both use the Tier-3-compliant Volvo D6E diesel engine, rated at 117 and 147 horsepower, respectively.
